I am literally jumping up and down with happiness right now because two of my dreams came true today, one of which involves going to Ethiopia in 3 days and getting to see the little boy who will soon be my brother. Oh man. Life is wonderful. Today was a good day.
Yesterday, I realized that you can never really know how much you love someone until you see them hurting. And even though seeing someone you love in pain is probably one of the worst things in the world, it’s worth it just to realize how much you really love them and how you’ll do whatever you can to heal their hurting. God really does use difficult things to bring us together and make us stronger.

My job is just wonderful. Singing and dancing in the kitchen, playing frisbee with campers, being around my hilarious and amazing fellow staff members, seeing God move through campers, watching my dish side teen staff bond, joining in hype with the campers and parties with the teen staff. Though this job can be stressful and hard, at the end of the day there is literally nothing I’d rather be doing right now. I am so blessed.
